Self-reflection
Is MOVEMEN
for you?
Before joining, take a moment to reflect honestly. MOVEMEN is not about becoming a professional dancer. It is about becoming more free, grounded, confident, and connected in yourself.
If reading these questions makes you think: "Yes — that's me."
Then MOVEMEN is likely exactly what you need.
Common questions
The things men wonder
before they reach out.
Do I need any dance experience?
None at all. Most men who come to MOVEMEN have little or no background in dance. The program meets you exactly where you are — that's the point.
What if I feel stupid or look awkward?
That feeling is almost universal — and it's exactly what we work with, not around. The space is safe, non-judgmental, and deeply human. Everyone in the room is there for the same reason.
Is this really just a dance class?
No. Dance is the vehicle — but the destination is confidence, presence, nervous system freedom, and a fundamentally different relationship with your body. Men consistently say what changes goes far beyond movement.
I'm quite private. Will I feel exposed?
The group is intentionally small — maximum 10 men. The container is held carefully by Emilie. You move at your own pace, nothing is forced. Private men often find this the most powerful experience precisely because they rarely allow themselves this kind of space.
What's the difference between the 1:1 and the group program?
The 1:1 is entirely private and built around you — ideal if you want to start quietly, at your own pace. The group program adds the power of brotherhood — being witnessed and supported by other men on the same journey. Both include Emilie's full commitment to your transformation.
Will this actually make a difference in my daily life?
Every man who has come through this work says the same thing — what changed wasn't just how they move. It changed how they walk into rooms, how they lead, how they connect, and how they feel in their own skin.
What would your life look like if you finally stopped holding yourself back?
And what could become possible if you fully trusted yourself, your body, and your expression?
